im just wondering why all the sudden im getting a little bit of idle surge. it goes from 500 to 900 rpms when im stopped and the car is warmed up. anyone know what this could be from? help me out. its on a 95 integra LS, no major mods just intake and exhaust. and no CEL's. let me know what this could possible be. thanks.

 

your idle valve below where the IM and the intake connect

could also be your thermo, mine did that when i didnt have enough coolantand the thermo read the engine as being cold even though it was really hot

 

yea chek your fitv (fast idle thermo valve) but b4 u do that chek to see if u have ne vaccum leaks

cracked vacuum line, and im not sure if it made a difference but the coolant was about a half gallon low, not exactly sure why though, doesnt leak at all.

Head gasket leak?? My head gasket is blown. The car runs fine, and has good compression, but it loses coolant out of nowhere. I can see it leaking along with oil between the head and block in the corner, next to the dizzy.

 

no its not leaking from anywhere and im not getting any coolant in my oil, i have no clue where it went. but its running great now. thanks for the help people
