Help!! Distributor Rotor headache

Default Help!! Distributor Rotor headache

Ok, so i did a JDM D15 Swap into my EG, covering all the bases on tuning up, i change the distributor cap, and unscrew the rotor retainer screw, viola, NO MOVE! I pry at it with a screwdriver, guess what, wont budge! any suggestions? It really needs to be changed and its fighting it!

i have had to beat all the plastic off of them then use a small gear puller to get them off, usually they just slide off but sometines they rust on, try some pb blaster it helps.

cut a flat head slot on it and take it out. dont hit the shaft whatever you do, it will destroy the shaft

try not to grind on the distributor, the metal shavings will get in the dissy and mess with the sensors, but if all else fails brake out the dremel, just blow out the dissy with compressed air the best you can.

Thanks, I will try the dremel route, i do have one.. I might try a lube on it, like deep creep, then use electrical cleaner to clean out all the lube... thanks for the ideas.
