Default 97 civic ex headight bulb install?

I got new headlights for my 97 civic but idk how the bulbs go in b/c they are these metal/brass colored clips that make the bulb go all the way and almost lik snap in i was wonderin if anyone knows how to put the clips on, or if they have any pics thanx

you push the clip in and move it to the side

the driverside is a bitch though. last time i replaced my headlights i had to remove the ps reso.

I just changed mines out. The ycharged me 20 bucks to do it at the local auto parts center. They found out my passenger side harness was melted, gave a new one for free. have someone do it for you.

If you dont know how to take off the clips, it sucks. The only advice is do not take out the phillips screw. It acts as a hinge for the clip.

why cant u take off the clip? i thought u can just put the bulb in, screw the clip back in, and put the black rubber thing in.

Well you can, but most people wont be able to figure out how the clip goes back on when they take the screw out. Its even worse that ur looking at it upside down. Your not supposed to have to take it out, the clip get pushed in and lifted out.

and the problem with that is the bulbs are just kinda sitting in there and they will move around alot. this iss from experience.
