Default got some new rotors and brake pads!

well guys...good news...got me some Brembo blanks today and they're already installed...i got some new brake pads today also...(i think they are just generic...not sure about what brand they are)...the ride feels a lot nicer now and it's very noticeable when braking...feels great and it was a worthy purchase...i wish i could have taken some pictures of my old rotors for you...damn...can we say warped to all hell!...my pads up front were down to 3% they said...i thought they started rubbing at about 5% anyways...but oh well...i'll be looking to switch out the rear rotors soon...but probably when i get a job!...i'm just in a little bit of debt now that i got those!!!!...but oh well...still worth it!...

So you $"PAID"$ to have this done or you did it yourself? What wheel bearings were used? I'm looking to yank the powerslot rotors and install the bbs that have been in the garage since november. I also am looking to replace the lower ball joints, along with the install all the prothane bushings I got

Unless you are an insane driver or have a sub-par brake system, stock pads will do you just fine on the street. Once bedded they are good for 2 or 3 hard stops before fade sets in. If you can fade brakes on the street, you're doing something wrong.

Karl, I ordered OE NTN bearings from http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com. I had to bring the knuckles to a machine shop to have the old bearings pressed out and new bearings pressed in. Plus they also had to remove the inner race of the old bearing from the hub. This is an amazing bitch. I bought a gear-puller, and it broke trying to pull that thing off the hub. They charged me 60 bucks labor for the wheel bearings and hubs. Pressing your new rotor and old hub back into the new wheel bearing is a major bitch too. Make sure everything is spotlessly clean and put some lube on the hub and inside the bearing to easy its trip in there.
