Speaking of water in places it shouldnt be...
... I have seen significant water spots all under my hood, on top of the engine, and almost everything around it. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I always thuoght the engine area was supposed to stay dry.

i have salt all in my engine from a trip up to canada
engine's have TONS of openings so they dont overheat amongst other reasons

to add to that, you'll notice that from the factory, the new 06 civics come with an Air Diversion Panel, you know, what people with EJ8s, EM1s, DC2s, etc pay for aftermarket

but yeah, when i opened my hood after some freeway driivng in the rain and all that, i noticed that hte watter was kind of splattered in there .. and i'm willing to bet that the stock air diversion panel aids in that
