Default just bought a 92 integra

hi, i am very new to hondas. I just bought a 92 gs integra with a b16swap. I was wondering, what mods should i do to get more power besides HEI? I am also curious to know what size piping should be used for the exhaust. And does anyone know what kinda quarter mile times i should expect just with the b16 (stock) and a GSR tranny?
thanks for all the replies.

oh yea this is the car that i had to sell.

no, B17 is a short block where the B16 is a long block but with shorter rods and a different crankshaft and pistons

look it up man, B17 is a short block, B16 is a long block

the JDM B16 you can convert to be 1.8 L with changes in the crankshaft pistons and rods, you cannot do that to the B17 because its a short block

I second that ban!

Are you using the wrong terminolgy or something? Cause the only difference betweeen the b16 and b17 is about 100cc of displacement, which means that the stroke is different.

i do realize the differene, im talking about the SIZE OF THE BLOCK, you can change the pisonts in a B18 and make it 1.6L, i know that stock they are all different displacements, HOWEVER, the size of the CAST IRON BLOCK is different btween the B16b and the B17a, but not different between the B16b and the B18c, the difference there is the crankshaft pistons and rods. You can convert the block of a B16b to a 1.8L, but you cant do that to a B17 without boring it out

OT, I know, but damn I have to say something.

First off, the whole short block vs. long block idea has been shot down by the other members, I won't elaborate.

Second, how the hell do you convert the b16 to a 1.8L by just changing the crankshaft, pistons and rods? You'd have to bore the block at least, otherwise you are going to have some serious fitment issues.

You sound like someone who slapped a bunch of terminology together, and you are seriously going to expletive up someone who thinks you sound professional enough to take your opinion.

I third the ban!

there are tons of people with a B16b and throwing in a GSR crank because both will fit below and have the same rod lengths and everything, just need a little bore, you try to do that with a B17 and you are fucked because the crank just wont fit in below

maybe im just not being clear, there is a difference, but whatever, look it up, and yeah i know the B16b is CTR, nevermind, hey atleast i am not trying to sell used break pads and expecting someone to buy them, what kind of moron would buy used pads when new ones are cheap and available pretty much everywhere, same with the 1 shock, who buys just 1 shock, thats stupid for your cars suspension

o yeah and all he said was B16 swap... why would you swap in a B16a when you already had either a B18 or a B17? i figured it was a B16b, safe assumption
