Default Need a quick answer...JG Edelbrock Intake Mani

I searched and got some results but I didn't really find what I'm looking for.

I've come across a deal on a used JG Edelbrock intake manifold for my B18c1. I plan on boosting down the road but am going for immediate power now, so I'm wondering if this intake manifold is going to net me some gains on my current setup? (Intake, cat-back exhaust, Neptune)

I was originally looking for a Skunk2/Blox...should I stick with this or will the Edelbrock suit my needs?

the victor X, usually works better on somewat built motors, i was thinking about getting it too, and sell my skunk2, but not really going to be boosting high and its a pretty stock motor, so i will stick with the skunk 2

So in other words its for high horsepower applications?

I'm only aiming for around 300whp after boost.

He's right ^, but if your going to boost later then buy the victor x, so what if you lose a single digit number of WHP, at least you won't have to buy an all motor one now and then a turbo one later. My 2 cents. or stick with stock IM until you boost. Stock ones are nice.

wait, my bad i think i got mixed up, you are all motor right now right? if so just get a skunk 2 or blox, but if your going to boost later get it now if u want, but dont put it on until u start boost, skunk2 and blox will suit your needs in NA, even with boost they will suit your needs also

Full Race has been around for a long time, but i dont think i have ever seen them make intake manifolds. They make damn good turbo manifolds though.

I have the VictorX and one thing i noticed is that it makes its power up high, like from 6000 and up. When boost hits you could tell the difference easy. I love it
