96-98 EK D-series tranny mount different from a 99-00 EK D-series?
i just bought a motor D16Y7 99-00 from some guy. the motor will be going into a 97 shell, the shell had a GSR motor in there.. my question is that i looked at my Ek hatch and the mount is totaly different from the 99-00, and the shell.. thanks guys if i am unclear i will try to explain better..
The mount is the same.
the stock front tranny mount should be the same. Is that what you are talking about?
I am also sure that the top mount is the same. The only way they would be different from my knowledge is if there was an aftermarket mount in the car.
Just letting you know that you might clarify which specific mount you are looking at.

You got an automatic Y7. The top tranny mounts between automatic and manual cars are different. But manual mounts between 96-98 and 99-00 are the same and so with the automatic mounts.
