Default ss with flux core?

Can stainless steel be welded with a flux core? I know stainless wire only comes in regular MIG wire and not flux core. What would happen if i welded with the mild steel flux core wire?

I've been using flux core for all of my exhaust related stuff and yes it's strong, and it will eventually rust, but I've been using High Temp Clear coat spray to protect against the rust and It's been working so far. Yes it's strong, and will weld SS just fine, but It will look like rabbit poop, unless you've had practice making nice mig welds.
