The 5 of you could all pick up the phone book and get some estimates or go to a shop that does it and ask. Then get together and compare.
Just get some estimates locally. It doesn't really matter what someone on the internet says when the shopes around your area are going to charge more. Also I am sure there are many different levels of quality and consequent prices in sunroofs. Just make sure you know what you are getting into cause they are known to leak after a while.
Cheers and good luck.

Doesn't adding weight to the top of the car degrade it's handling? My factory sunroof is leaking, haven't had the time to tear it apart yet, but I'd be more worried about an aftermarket sunroof not sealing as good and leaking. Also, if you're tall it takes away headroom, I have about 1/2" from hitting my head and i'm only 5'11. Just some thoughts.
thaTS why you gotta drive with the gangster lean, im abiut the same height. ... wouldn't the weight be about the same? taking away a cunk of metal and replacing it with glass and parts??
the only correct way 2 get a sunroof installed is to find a donor car "example" 92 civic SI hatch, tap out the spot welds on the whole entire roof, and remove the roof . .. do the same to your "example" 93 civic vx w/out sunroof . . . take the new sunroof from SI hatch and have that spotwelded bak onto your 93 vx hatch . . . note ofcoarse the front and rear windshield have 2 come off . . . so yea . . .
lmao, word. that's going to be my solution. wayyyy too much work, time, and money. just get a different car and make someone else happy to own your beautiful honda WITHOUT a sunroof.

Yeah but that's also a preference based solution.. Say dude has no patience to list his car for sale, than cant seem to find one with a sunroof that he likes... I got my sunroof installed about 8 months ago from a shop down here in SO FLA for 500 an havent had any electrical problems or leaking problems.. I went to the junkyard alright, but all i took was sunroof switch an as much wiring as i could to help the shop out a bit, so yeah mine basically looks stock and I've had no problems.. Good luck...

kamikaze is right...the best way (not the cheapest) is to get the factory stuff...i have a 96 hatch and i got the 4 door integra sunroof b/c it tilts up when it slides back and the roof is more similar to the hatches...i bought the sunroof from a junkyard and had it installed on my hatch...yea, i know it's a waste of money to some of ya'll but it's my car and that's how i wanted to build it...i have the stock sunroof switch off an si also...
