yup...thats the most scared ive ever been in my life. crazy tornado warnings for the rest of the night....... i was working on a car in the parking lot, and welding some brackets inside for my car going back and forth. everything looked fine one second.....i leaned over to tighten a radiator hose....and by the time i was done with that (20 seconds?) the whole sky was black and circling around like crazy coming downwards. locked the door and peaced out to make sure my family is ok.

im freaking out...this sucks!!

 

Sounds scary. My day started off scary as hell to. An Aircraft that I've worked on crashed this morning about 1/2 mi. from the base. If you haven't heard yet, You will!

??? that was the most goodie too shoe comment i have ever heard, the last time i heard something like that was in grade school... if i was still in grade school in the auditorium i would of shot you with a paper clip gun

Yep, It's in the field across from my house in 3 pieces . BTW, It's a C-5. The largest aircraft in our fleet.

HAHA I was gonna ask vaporboy12 online if it was stroming it's nuts off up there too. Cuz man it is a nice *** storm here, thunder and lightning and hard *** rain , I sat on my balcony for a few admiring it

I have only seen one tornado in my life (unless you count the ones from the movie Twister [Hellen Hunt was hot in that movie]). It has rained for 25 out of the last 30 days in my area, and today a small cloud burst dropped 2-3 inches of rain in an hour. We have it pretty good here in California as far as weather goes (except for the month of March this year).

But I have to agree with him! There was a recent article on global warming, and the effects its having on the planet at a more accelerated rate than scientists predicted.

 

same thing here in va where im working no, just south of me in amelia co they had warnings, it got super nasty here, havent seen black clouds like those since i lived in indiana

We had those storms in central illinois last evening.

We are crazy around here though. We stand out and wait for things to happen!! It only gets scary when you know the tornado is on the ground and you cant see 2 feet infront of the windshild. This is why we take my buddys lifted 4wd truck incase we need to go offroading.

It has been a crazy start to the storm season.

 

We are always in such a big hurry its jump in the truck and take off to where ever there has been one spotted, we have never brought a camera. But i just got a new cannon with all sorts of lenses and i take it everywhere, so there will be pics this year. We get quite a few good storms with wicked skies.

We had a close call in 2003 i believe, a f3 went about 100 feet from our old house. We had shingles stuck in our wood siding and items from places 1/2 mile away in our yard. It was pretty crazy. Then last year we watched a funnel cloud go right over the shop, and i mean RIGHT over, i was praying, just please wait, please wait. It didn't drop till about 25 milesfrom the shop, so it was a good chase. It finally dropped a f3 in the middle of no where. It had dropped probably 15-20 tails that would go 1/3 to 1/2 way down then go back up.

We had a F5 hit a pretty small town and a big factory in 2003, but we were in florida at the time.

If you can't tell i get pretty excited about storms...lol

Holy **** Joe thats some crazy stuff man haha. It was bad last night but i wasnt running from tornado's . Just some big hail over at my place.
