Default How to bring back the black in my Recaro seat?

So I have a Recaro SPG with the black velour-type material, and it's starting to look a little faded. Wondering what would be the best way to bring it back to dark black? The seat cover is removable, I have considered pulling it off and washing it with this Woolite 'dark colors' laundry detergent I have, but I'm not sure if that will work well. and I can't die it because it has a white Recaro logo embroidered into it...

help me out guys - I know someone has done this before...

umm obviously you have no idea how much stuff like that costs for a Recaro. Just to give you an idea - I looked into buying a new cushion (the one under your ***) but it was $200. for a cushion about 12"x10" covered with black velour.

So anyway I'm trying to make it look a little nicer/newer without breaking the bank...
