Replacing shocks and springs - True or False?
When lowering a car by replacing the springs and shocks at the same time, it is the exact amount of work (labor cost) as if I was to change the springs or shocks by it self.

true. (unless you have separate top hats and whatnot available)
actually, its even easier if youre replacing a full coilover setup. you dont have to take apart the shock.

Amount of work, true. Labor "cost", depends on the shop since they can charge whatever they want. It "should" cost the same, otherwise find to another shop.
OT example: I had a lifetime alignment agreement at a local Discount tire; when I went for a front end alignment with aftermarket UCAs, and wanted a specific amount of -ve camber dialed in, they said it would cost more because of it. Come to think of it, I need to write a complaint to the corporate office.

True with decent shops. to remove springs you have to remove everything anyways, so it takes no longer and is acutally easier to just remove stock and assemble aftermarket and re-install.
