i got an ej1 and Im bout to change my wheels studs up front cuz its getting hard to remove my lugs. Do i need to remove the axle nut and pop out the axle to hammer out the stud?

 

axle nut does need to be removed! there is a thread with pics on here just use the search button!

 

the wheelstud hub needs to be removed, i dont think that u can just hammer them out, you might need to get slide hamer for this, i tried to do my front ones and i got stuck on just that! i couldnt get the damn hub out!!!! slid hammer makes a world of difference!!! Good luck with the studs man, hey if you can figure out how to change them without the stupid slidehammer post your results!!
