Dry Sump anyone??
Is there anyone running a Dry sump on a street car? Just wondering if it would be reliable enough for not daily driving, but a street car.... Pics wanted if you have any.

here is my old "street car"

was running the z10 2 stage wet sump system with dsr mechanical fuel pump.
the only thing that would be a bitch is priming up the system. to get oil and fuel pressure.
it doesnt make a differance.

There is a big difference between a drysump and a wet sump pump. When ou have a druy sump system you change the oil pan and move the storage of oil to an external tank and the oil pan is much shorter and you have an external pump to drive the whole thing. When you have a wet sump then the storage of the oil is still in the oil pan, and it is just an external pump that pumps from the pan. There are many advantages for DrySump systems over wet sump systems. And the only reason i sais street car is because i do want to drive my car on the streets not just for passes at the drag strip.
Any feed back is welcone!
Thanks
