Did You Sell Your Type R If You Get Another Performance Car ? ?
Hi, just wonder how many of you guys sold or will sell your NA Integra Type R If you get another TURBO car like STI or EVO MR ? For me I'm saving both, I just can't let go for a 1998 Championship White Integra Type R, My Experience is My Type R draw more attention...

I owned a Turbo Integra GSR, stolen , then rebuild another R , and crashed and rebuild, and then stolen again, and then I got another RS to project, then I sold it and Get another Integra Type R, I think I'm eligible for a Honda-tech Type R member
So the question is "Would you sell your ITR if you bought another performance type vehicle?" My answer would be NO. Actually HELL NO!! I have looked at other "performance" type vehicles and if I bought one they would become daily drivers for me and the R would become a Sunday/Track car.

I would agree , but a Integra 1.8 R is really good for daily drive isn't it ?

I have been hearing alot of things from ex R owners converted to STi that they miss the R's "Fun Factor"....
Sure the other cars are more powerful and accelerate faster.. but winding up the gears and waiting for the shizo freak to turn on and pull like a mother wailing down the streets is something else!

I wouldn't sell my ITR. I'd rather add to the collection. We recently added an 06' MINI Cooper S for the wife which is almost as fun to drive as the R (More fun in some aspects, less fun in others)
Our next car will be RWD
(although that won't be for 4-5 years, when the MINI is payed off)

Bingo
I have no intentions of ever selling the R for something else. Mine recently became an owned part of our stable.
I autocrossed it yesterday for kicks and to get rid of some pent up winter agression and damned it's just such a good car. Perfect for a weekend warrior autox/track *****. Great dollar per performance value and incredible reliability.
Buy another performance car? Sure. But sell the R never, or at least absolutely no intentions of ever doing so.

Whenever I think about buying another car the only thing that's running through my head is "which one do I want to be the daily driver".
I've decided I'm keeping mine forever.
