Default what ecu to use? P61 or PR3 in my 92 Integra GSR

I have a 92 integra gsr w/ b17. its obd-1 and uses a P61 ecu.

I am taking that out and swapping in a JDM B16 (170hp) from HMO. It comes with the PR3 ecu which is obd-0.

Since the swap is supposed to be OBD-1, im not sure why they are including that ecu, but would I be fine using my P61 ecu? are there any difference? good and bad?

yes you'll be fine using your p61 ecu. PR3 also came in obd1 in Japan on the 92-93 integra xsi.

oh ok.. so that is what they are talking about..

what would be a better ecu to use? my USDM P61 or the JDM PR3?

I heard that JDM PR3 ecu is only good to 112 mph or something like that?

im not sure about mapping..but the only downside to jdm ecu's are the speed gov. i would run the stock ecu

that is my concern.. do you think there would be a different map between the 2? like i would assume there would be.

Since the JDM B16 XSi has a higher C/R and more HP, i would just natually assume the map is designed for that engine and my B17 P61 ecu would not be as good.

more facts please.
