Default factory fog lights

I have a 97 LX that I want to buy some OEM fogs for. But since my car didn't come with the fogs, would I need to buy a bumper from a 5th gen Accord that came stock with the fogs? Or is there a way to install them on my bumper? Need to know ASAP. Thanks.

My understanding of is that most of the cars have the place to put the lights (if they were supposed to be in some sort of special slot or hole) you just have to take out whatever they used to fill in that place.

I've decided that I'm just going to buy the lights and figure out a way to mount them in my bumper. Thanks for the reply though.

For 5th gen accords, you will have to cut the grill. the link above will guide you through the installation.

EDIT: Too many people from Indiana in this thread.

you only need to cut the grill when installing on 96-97 bumpers, 94-95 require no such cutting...

shameless plug: i also happen to be selling some oem 96-97 accord foglights, brand new, never been used!!!!!

Thanks for the help guys. And also thanks for that website for cutting my grill.

I'd take you up on that offer but I just bought a pair from a 94-95, brand new with the wiring harness and the switch for $51 . Thanks anyway though.

94-95 and 96-97 foglights are different...
94 style bolt to bumper from behind, and 96 style bolt to bumper from the front, i dont know if they interchange...

I'll have to wait until I get the fog lights. I'm sure I can find a way to custom mount them. Anything is possible .
