Default i've caught a disease.

Just purchased a 2001 PY ITR two weeks ago, and I have a serious disease. I can't stop thinking about it. All I want to do is sit in it, and drive.

All you other ITR owners, how long does it take before you can finally think of the ITR as just a normal car?

ITR is like a good woman:

Requires a lot of time and attention.
Never b*tches or complains unless it's really something crucial.
Always brings a smile to your face when you look at her and realize that she's ALL YOURS.
Every morning when you wake up the first thing you think about is her.
Never lets you down.
Offers consulation in times of need.
You can show her off to all the guys and they'll all be like, "DAMNNNNNNNN! That's hot!"
Offers pure enjoyment and passion when you're in her.

I could go on...but I have to give my baby up

Never. In the first 3 years of ownership I racked up 92,000mi and that was WITH a beater car for some of the time. Most of those miles were put on with no destination in mind. I just simply wanted to go drive it ALL the time.

But even then, you might learn to love it even more, working on it and stuff, i know for myself, the more attention and the more i work on it, the more i love it and cant wait to go for another adventure!
