I have a b16 tranny and every time i have it in gear and come to a stop i hear a wining noise. It keeps on getting louder everyday. what it is? what can i do? thanks.

 

just send me the tranny and I'll give you my perfect ls tranny, lol

But sounds like your losing that gear, sounds like the synchros are about
to go,
Thats what I'd saybut I'm sure I'm wrong, who knows

EDIT: Do you have a sytem? Is it coming from the speakers?
I know sometimes this happens if your ICA isnt la hooked up right

Question, is it when your slowing down? or spedding up?

Because it could be either your Synchros goin or something else,
It could be your Steareo, Where does it sound like its comming from, Becuase I know ICE if hooked up wrong or not well enuf will make a winding noise.

 

its when im slowing down and its coming from the engine.

 

Not too sure, but it probably isnt good. There is a guy on here that rebuilds trannys i cant remeber his name at the moment but im sure he would know.
