ok i have a 1998 honda civic with the dsm 450cc injectors i have a resistor box with 4 black wires and 1 red does it matter which black wire from the resistor box i hook up to the injectors.

but then wouldnt the injectors fire randomly?

The injectors have positive power feeding them all the time. The resistor box just regulates the power. The other wires yellow/black, red/black etc that attach to the injectors are the actual ones that are making the injector fire by grounding it out.
