blocking the iacv holes with a non functioning iacv???
hello everybody.
i swapd my intake manifold from the "ugly no platnum type" to a d16z9 manifold.
i used my old TB that has the iacv on it.
i made a blocking plate to cover the old iacv holes and now i think its leaking.
i was wondering.... can i use the old iacv just as a block and not connect it to anything? will it work?
thanks

as long as the seal on the plunger is still good there is no reason why you couldn't use it to block the holes.
better to make a gasket for the plate though. cause less confusion in the future.
