Default Swap ?s

O.k. guys, done a search and nothing. I've recently order a OBD1 JDM b18c and when I got it there were some things missing and out of place.

1. The evap purge control solenoid vavle (on top of the IM to the left side) is missing. Could I do without it or would I have to get one? Anyother cars, I could take it from?

2. The OBD2 distributor came attached to the engine with the grey plugs. I will be running a OBD1 ecu, so would I have to replace or could I used this distributor after working out the wires?

Just to clear things up, I could use my engine wiring harness off my 91 CRX si and run new wires to the extra sensors?? I heard that I can't use the JDM b18c engine harness, right?

Any info. would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

the JDM versions never came with one (purge that is)
as far the distributor if you are running OBDI, then replug it to two plugs (if it has two plugs then its OBDI), as far as Injectors you can simply just rewire or use OBDI injectors

90-1 crx harness will work if you simply convert the motor to non-obd for this you will need B16A distributor, injectors and few other small things....also you will have no control over IAB (secondaries)

"the JDM versions never came with one (purge that is)"

Then why does the U.S. version have one?

"as far the distributor if you are running OBDI, then replug it to two plugs (if it has two plugs then its OBDI), as far as Injectors you can simply just rewire or use OBDI injectors"

O.K.

No, I don't want to convert this to non-obd because I got all the stuff for obd1 and don't want to spend a few more hundred getting non-obd stuff and resale the obd1s. Just to clear things up with me. So I can't use the 91 crx si engine harness to plug into the JDM sensors and wire up the rest that doesn't match up?

the us versions have it because we have to abide by our emissions standards.
