if you wanna drop the car, DO NOT F*CKING CUT THE SPRINGS. buy a set of lowering springs off ebay for like $50 including shipping if you are really that cheap about lowering your car.

but eh, a grinder is a nice tool, it cut my strock springs in half in like 5 seconds, cuz we didnt have enough room to take the assembly out, so we just cut the spring and put new ones in there.

Dont cut them for gods sake.

You're going into suicide mission if you do that. My car was equipped with lowering springs and previous owner had them cutted so it looked nice. OKay, they looked nice. But it was very dangerous to drive with it. The shocks were bottomed out, and when the shock got all up, the spring was loose between the spring plates. I changed them asap to Eibach lowering springs, thank god.

if you really want to dump the car then get a set of cheap coil-overs on ebay ( run you about $50 shipped ) and only use one perch. sit the level of the perch as far down as you can and you should be tuckin tire even on a 14 inch rim. there are a few people who have done this for the past few years.

DO NOT CUT YOUR SPRINGS. Spend the money that you would on the tool on a set of springs or coilovers.

Yeah what he said.^^ Besides IMO its harder and takes more time to cut them (evenly and consistant which each other) than it does to swap out a set of drop springs.

Bro Congrats on the car but take my word for it... cutting springs is a stupid way to "slam" your car. When I bought my car the springs had been cut. It has ridden for 5k miles on them and it had already taken a heavy tol on the struts. just buy lowing springs or coil overs and do it the right way. if you cut them you will bounce too much and ruin your cars ride, handling, and struts...
