Question about ECU/Engine
Hey guys, I have a jdm b16 in my 93 ej1 (I am the 2nd owner of the engine). Ok well I was running it on a virgin P28 for a while. Finally got it chipped and my buddy said use a P72 GSR map instead of a regular P30. So I said sure what the hell...... Well when running the car on the birgin p28 it ran ok...I mean no power or anything but thats off the point. Now when I drive and I shift the and take off the clutch and put on the gas the car falls on it's face hard then picks up. When I am cruising if I punch the gas the car back fires.. and the car has NO POWER!!! like really slow for a B16. It did NONE of this when I was running it on the virgin P28 only started once I had it chipped and running the P72. Do you think that it's the P72 GSR map doing this or because I am the 2nd owner and the 1st owner beat on the engine does it need a rebuild? please help!
