I'm not sure on what cam gears to purchase... i would appreciate any help

My Build: Jdm b18c
P73 Pistons
Omni Valve Train springs\retainer\valves
Buddy Club Spec III camshafts
Skunk2 IM
An-R Header

 

How deep is your pocket?

 

anything 4 or 5 bolt and from a company that you can trust to have them machined correctly....

here are a few suggestions in no paticular order....

Golden Eagle Mfg
Endyn
UGR
Buddy Club
Toda
Peak
AEM - new ones should have 5 bolts now
skunk2 - I did have a problem with a set of skunk2's before but i think they resolved the issue....

ones I dont recommend are....

Old 3 bolt AEM
JG - sont know if they fixed the problem but it was not machined correctly
OBX - stay away
ebay specials

yeah i was leaning towards either the Buddy clubs(b\c those are the cams i bought) or the Skunk2's b\c i see a lot of ppl using them

What is the difference between skunk2 pro series cam gears and the regular skunk2 cam gears?

they look differant than the old ones....kinda like a new look, as far as i know....

The Golden Eagles are nice....so are the UGR Toda style gears.....Good bang for the buck and are zeroed out.

I made a special tool to check to see if a Cam gear set to zero is really zeroed out...so far I have seen issues with the JG, OBX, and Ebay Specials.....
