Car = 2006 Civic EX
Drop = Tein S-techs (1.4"F / 1.3"R)
Did a before and after shot - the before shot, it was cloudy outside, after I my friend and I were done with the install - SUNNY! lol

Close up - had to brighten the contrast on the 'before' pic

Up next! Finish up my TSX Retrofit and install the fog lights with PIAA plasma ion yellow bulbs

The car will settle and drop down a bit more. If you can, take it to a "pit" where you can walk underneath the car and crack all the bolts loose and let the car sit for a few and then tighten em back up, it should lower it a bit more. Nice lookin car man

Hey man, I spoke to you on aim a while ago about springs. I'm here in Sacramento, and you and me have the exact same car, and now the same springs. The springs will settle, more so in the rear. I agree with some of the responses, the EX's do not look lowered on S-Techs. The problem is the geeky *** tires. If we put some 17's on and 215/45/17 tires, it will look a lot better, just like some of the SI's that you and I have both seen on 8thcivic.com, and fgcoupe.com. If you get close and look at the fender gap, you will know its lowered, but the photos, and sometimes a distant view in person does not do it justice. Its the tires man, they have to go for you and me, and I have already started saving for something better. Additionally, I have some popping sounds at very slow speeds (1-3mph) when turning my wheels, let me know if you have the same? Just to let everyone know, the car is lowered nicely, but the tires overshadow it. Sorry for the ramble, I'm drunk and the whole subkect of S-Techs on an EX is a sore sport with me, I look at my ride every day and can't decide if the lowering looks good or bad--Brian
Looks good I had a 02 EX and I dropped it on Tein springs....look for the rear shocks to blow and if you run into a tranny grind( probably just my tranny but I had a 3rd gear synchro off) problem Honda will blame it on the fact that you dropped your car. Meaning they won't warrant the repair. Just some FYI.
ive dropped the exact same type of car and same springs with my friend a couple of months back. it's a nice drop, all you need are some nice wheels and a lip to go with it, like this....(i think this ride has a full adjustable suspension though)

It looks cool, I suppose. I would have preferred a lower ride height, but apparently, you'll only be able to do that with coilovers.
