Default z6 block in a 99 civic

i have a problem, just blew my y8 block and a friend has an extra z6 block on the side. was wondering if there was a way to work around the crank angle sensor? for those that know the y8 has a plug for the crank sensor and the z6 dont. i have everything hooked up except for that and the motor wont start up. and suggestion

It should start without it.... if not, why not just swap oil pumps really quick?
