hey guys,im planning to get a apexi GT spec exhaust or tanabe racing medalion.CAT BACK.and i was just wondering if it would fit the jdm header 2 1/2 collecter.

 

i meant,can u put the jdm header with the stock cat?

 

No. The USDM cat has a 2.25" flange, the JDM ITR header has a 2.5" collector. Will not fit.

Easiest solution is to get something like an Omni testpipe that goes from 2.5" to 2.25" (if you're using the stock exhaust), or straight 2.5" if you're going with an aftermarket catback.

The JDM ITR cat will work also, but is just as much of a restriction as the USDM ITR cat.

 

ok .. so you have 2.5" header and you are getting a cat back that's not stock piping size

so that means you cant use stock cat..

all you need is a 2.5" cat that will fit your header and your cat back
