It does look that way. In comparison to a shot of the current Si from that angle, they appear similar.

you're right, just posted a sample body pic of the new CTR concept car which was based from the body of the european civics.

 

Anybody got spec sheets yet? And more pictures of the models?

The rear doors on the Euro Civic hatchback open like a regular door. They are not "suicide doors", like those found on the RX-8.

The door handle for the Euro Civic rear doors are located in the C pillar.

The only info i got out of the press release was that it would be 200PS and the 2.0L engine.

Could be available in Europe as early as 2007.

It'll take some time to grow on me, but I think I like it

 

fyi - the ctr concept has no rear door... the pic that someone put up a few posts ago is not a ctr and you can see it has a third pillar bar whereas the ctr only has the center pilar bar going through the windows.

 

It looks alright. I hope the production model is a little more toned down.

oh man its gross, the hatch has gone way down hill since that damn ep3 disease. Lol i like ep3's but anyways, this thing looks like its straight out of france (Peuogot) or how ever you spell it.

 

that dam bug is disgrace to the type r name. Id rather pick up an fg2 or an ep3 type r any day
