crank pulley fell off...WTF!?
ok last night i was just cruising along and my crank pulley just falls off!! nothing got damaged. i always put that bolt on as tight as humanly possible. i also have a friend that had the same thing happen on his b16. he told me he went to honda and they told them they have a new crank pulley bolt. i guess because this has been a problem on hondas. he said you have to torque it down to 140 and then loosen it and then torque it again to 80 ft lbs. said the instructions are on the bolt? anybody know what im talking about?
im thinking im just gonna put the bolt back on with a ton of red loctite or maybe tack weld it. would that hurt anything, like making it unbalanced with a small tack?
