Redline on a D15Z1?
Enlighten me people. Stock D15Z1. Car came with a different cluster and the car has no top end, just revs freely, almost like it could rev for ever.
Seems like it has no power over 5500/6000rpm

Thanks guys. Yea my friend got a vx. I gotta tell you, it's the shittiest engine ev4r man. It does stop making power at about 5k, then it sounds like it's about to blow
I'm doing his mini-me this weekend, I was just wondering.

I would not necessarily call the D15Z1 a crappy motor. Rather, it is a motor built for a purpose: high fuel economy. It was never intended to make power. And you would be hard-pressed to make it do so. Rather, if power is what you want, swap the motor out for something that is more workable. Even a stock 1992-1995 DX motor has more potential when it comes to HP. Then find someone to sell your D15Z1 to. With gas prices as high as they are (and as high as they are believed to go this summer), someone will certainly give you $100 or so for that motor. The D15Z1 has become somewhat popular as a fuel economy swap.
