Buidling a gsr turbo
Hey guys i have a turbo crx....turbo gsr motor.
I recently threw a rod and am planning on building up the bottom end...I was wondering what you guys think the best route would be? Which block should i buy....the car has a 8500 rev limit and at that rpm the turbo is still pulling in more power so i would like a high-revving motor...The car currently has 225 WHP at 5 psi...i plan on boosting at about 10 psi(around 275 hp???)....thanks for any input.

try the forced induction forums, this is all motor. Your setup sounds cool though, I think my next project will be turbo.
But to get the engine to rev higher safely first, balance the bottom end and sleeve it, with lower comp. pistons and rods you could boost a lot higher than 10 psi. then get a good tuning tool like crome(what I know run) or hondata.

I doubt that's entirely accurate, people in the FI section would tend to know more about building blocks and NA guys generally tend to know more about head work. Plus they ae two VERY different types of building. Although many people are extremely knowedgeable in both categories here on HT, I think it would best be suited in the FI section. Ask a moderator to move it there or it will probally get deleted all together
