Wheel bolt snaped off just now. What replacement parts do I need?
I am in the process of doing a timing belt change on my 99 4dr EX civic. I was taking off all of the wheel nuts that hold the wheel on. some were a little hard to come off but they finally came off. When i got to the top one, it was really hard to get off then suddenly it was really easy to get off: thats because it snaped off
What part do I need to replace this? Here are some pics.
Also, is it safe to drive with the 3 nuts on there going 25mph or so b4 i get this fixed?
Any help would be appreciated.

You will need a new wheel stud. There are several ways to put it on but the pressing it in the the most common method. There are ways to use an impact wrench, deep socket, and bolt to get the stud on the hub unit as well.
I would recommend that you get the hub removed and press in the wheel stud.
You can order the wheel studs from your local Honda dealership. Unless you have a GSR brake conversion, then you need to get the wheel stud from Acura.

this is a 100% stock 1999 civic. Pressing it in? Dont you just take the nut off in the middle and then undo the 2 screws on the sides of the center nut?
Oh also, can anyone tell me what size that center bolt is? the ones i have dont fit it at all. Its larger than a 24mm im guessing

The hub does not come out with the removal of a screw. Look at my "how to" write up on wheel bearings. You will see that you have to do the following:
1. Remove the knuckle
2. Press the hub out.
3. Remove the wheel bearing sleeve (as not to damage it)
4. Press out the broken stud.
5. Press in the new stud.
6. Assemble the wheel bearing back in the knuckle.
7. Press the hub back into the knuckle.
8. Install the knuckle.

You can disregard the lower ball joint portion of the post as you are not doing it.
The axle nut is 32mm torqued @ 134 ft. lbs.
The trick to getting it off, if no impact tools are present, is to raise the car from front, and place a jack stand on the side where you will be working.
Lower the car and you will have on tire in the front touching the ground. This wil give you enough tension to remove the axle nut if using handtools. Make sure you pound out the indexing with a punch of some sort.

if its a civic with no abs there is a way to put it on without pulling out the whole hub. i did it a couple of times. just remove all the brakes, backing plate and then there should be a opening to hit the broken stud out. then put the new one in. use some washers and a lug nut and tighten until the stud gets stuck into the hub

yes it's fine to drive on 3 lugs if you don't get on it.
second, just hammer it out, take out the rotor, and hammer a new one back on
a press would make getting it in and out a lot easier

I take it your mean the screws that hold the rotor on? If so, Just get an impact screwdriver to bust these loose!
The hub is what you would be pressing the stud into. Personally, I would feel safer using a press to do this although I am sure there are plenty of other ways to do this task.
