Default *will my head fit?*

i have a d15b8 block(w/sohc non-vtec) and was wondering if i can put a d16a1 head (w/dohc non-vtec) on it?

everything will go together fine, but thats gonna drop your compession considerably w/ the dohc zc head.

As i was saying the b8 is a 8valve motor. Wich some do not have 4 valve release pistons. Wich you will need. And the head is not a direct swap. Its like putting a DOHC zc head on a b7 block. Theres a wright up on here some where about it. Theres a lil fab work to do. I recommend getting a better tranny frist. Then swapping in a jdm 15b V-TEC.Wich you can get cheap.$400-500.Or a DOHC ODB1 ZC for about same price,If moneys a issue. but What ever you do good luck A lower comp doesnt all ways mean slower
