Default SPOON rad. Cap

how much of a difference will a REAL spoon rad. cap do? it will be on a 89 crx si with sohc zc

never said for performance. jus wanted to see if i will see any noticable difference in any fields. example in cooling, life of the cap, etc. i already know you wont go faster by a rad. cap.

the cap will raise the pressure of the coolant(by a few psi) and the higher the pressure of the coolant the more heat it takes for the coolant to start boiling... if coolant boils it looses all of its cooling properties... its more of a safety precaution... it allows you to beat on your car a little more without it overheating as easily ... so yes it improves performance- of the cooling system that is

but for any thing short of a real race car its just bling.
Hondas OEM one isn't crap

but if bling is your thing go for it.

Its funny with the spoon cap..Because most people just pay for the name..But the "spoon" sticker they put on always falls off..I dont see a problem with the stock one..

no problem wit the stock one. i just have a brand new in the box at my house, and i dont know if i wanna sell it or use it.

Oh,,well in that case you might as well use it..I though you were asking if you should buy it or not..

On the other hand you can make like $30-$40 off that little thing,so maybe sell it..
