AIght, so i bought this b18c1 longblock a long time ago and am finally able to slap this bad boy turbo'd into my del slow.... My boy is doin the instal for me and he was trying to take the head off. He had told me the previous owner has ARP head bolts on it. He apparently didn't have a tool to take it off.

so my question is.... is there a special tool to take these off? or should i be asking if i need a special tool to take the nut off the headbolt..... or standard tools should work and i may have a stripped head bolt

 

I think a twelve point 14mm will do the trick

 

its a 1/2 12pt. i would probably use a deep socket depending how much of the stud is sticking up from the nut.

 

Am I missing something? Shouldn't those be metric? All the Hondas I have owned tended to be.

i dont know where you guys are getting this 14mm and 1/2 inch from but those are wrong.
