I am the proud owner of and EG now! HURRAY! LOL. I picked this 95' EG up off a friend who was joining the military. I bought it for $500. I think that was a steal for what I got. Here are some pics of it after I picked it up...
The front has some minor body damage, I need a new fender, bumper and corner light. Still not bad for $500...




It came with Tenzo R racing seats already installed. **** the seats cost more than what I payed for the car! LOL! I love it.


Heres the money shot... Little D15b7. The car came with the stock exhaust manifold and I threw on this DC sports header that he gave me with the car. I already have the VTEC head for it and Im almost done piecing together my turbo kit. So within the next month it will be MINIME'd with Boost


This is how it sits now. I got rid of those ugly Konigs and I painted my steelies black. I think they came out great for a $3 job and a little bit of my time. Its definately comin along.

I need to know what the part number is for this bolt on the rear hatch glass that the struts bolt too. both of mine are completely stripped. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here are some pics of what Im talking about.

you need build a bit haha, but nice.. what's your plans?

 

some lowering springs and good struts will make a world of difference with the appearance and handling. your better off goin with a DOHC swap like an LS its easier and they are boosted easily. mini me has alotta little problems but to each there own

 

I hate it when someone has a better exhaust than me.

BTW, I ditched my Si hubcaps because they were in such horrible shape and painted my steelies. I can't wait till I have the money for rims.

Nice project car for $500. I agree with the other guy about building an LS for turbo. You'll definiyely get more out of the LS than the D15. Any other plans for it?

 

Well if you do a minime swap. Wich i wouldnt recommend. You really need to get rid of the cx intake manifold. Are you sure the motors not a b8? If it is you need to make sure. That pistons have 4 valve release.But nice for 500

 

I think it looks like a d15b8 IM also.

 

sweet deal man. i'd say mine is sweeter but it isn't. i got mine for FREE. but, the seats are a little beat up, i got PCW 5 spokes instead of steelies, and i have dings and dents all over. not to mention the paint is starting to peel. damn you maaco!! but, this was all the way i got it. i swapped a GSR in there and put V2 CAI on it. plus 2.5 inch exhaust system. good luck though.

oh yeah, i remember when i went to a body place to get a quote on my car, and the guy tried to sell me a mini me swap. i escaped the clutches of the mini-me though and got a sweet GSR. i'm getting a LSD tranny next and then full coilovers and body. and the new work rims have been calling my name. but those will have to wait.

just to let you know, you're going to end up putting money into that car. a good bit of money. just don't buy anything off of ebay.

Thanks guys! To answer the question, yes it is a CX and yes Im sure its a B7. I know that isn't the right motor for the car...
Also Im not doing a LS + boost because I already have everything for a minime just givin to me. so Ima boost this for extremely cheap. Plus this is just my beater... my other car is a built b16 boosted CRX. Im just doin what I can for really cheap LOL.

Only reason I am putting money into a single cam is because I was givin all the parts to do a MINIME for FREE. And since my other car is a boosted CRX, I have alot of the boost parts just layin around. So Im a MINIME + BOOST for mad cheap. After that blows up I'll go DOHC for sure.
