I think valve adjustment is so over discussed here and has been beaten to death.
Is it true that 00-01 tegs per owners manual suggest adjusment at 100k miles or so? I read it somewhere here.
Anyway, I took my car to the dealer at 30k miles and they didn't adjust the valves because they said I don't need since the tech didn't hear some tapping noise. He could have easily taken $95 off me.
