Anyone Know if Skunk 2 stage 2 cams are worth it for a b16a. (with of coarse the upgraded valvetrain). Does anyone know what kinda hp increase they give? I have herd too many different stories by people that havent driven a car with them.

 

Hmm..Im not sure if what I heard was true...but I was told my Blox B cams are similar.

All I know is that the increase is all at the top end for me...VTEC kicks like a monster.

I have yet to get it tuned though. I had a quick tune before I sent my car back to the shop for some head work.

 

What do you mean by getting it tuned? how much did you pay for the blox cams?

He means taking it to a Tuner with some Dyno time. The Tuner will use which ever programable system you get Ie: Uberdata, Crome, Hondata, AEM EMS etc.. The tuner will alter Fuel and Ignition maps to suite the engine with its new breathing characteristics.

 

the skunk2 stage 2's are great cams, usually anything they make is of good quality and functions great
