For those using a VAFC on a 11.5ish comp. motor...MAP question...

What kind of MAP readings are you guys getting at idle (for me ~900) in mm/hg on the AFC...Just want to make sure im producing the proper vacuum

vinny does it read just like a boost guage? you should be making between 19-22 on a nice healthy motor my stock comrpession b16 makes 20-21 at idle and about 24-25 on decel

Okay...well an Autometer boost gauge reads vacuum in In/Hg, and an AFC reads vacuum in mm/Hg...So...

20 in/Hg = (-)507 mm/Hg
24 in/Hg = (-)609 mm/hg

Im getting -560 mm/hg at idle, and ~ -640 mm/Hg under deceleration...sounds good to me, no?
