Default Driveshaft knocking -- how much time?

Well, my passenger’s side driveshaft has been knocking whenever I take a left turn for some time now (getting progressively louder). CV boots are good for both sides, and drivers side has no problems.

How much time left/when should I start thinking about replacing the driveshaft(s)?

Just wondering because I’m poor/a student/want to drag this on for as long as possible safely so I can save some money for gas and food, lol. That and all I have is a weaksauce impact gun and don't intend to pay someone to install them on my car. I'm that cheap .

Thanks ahead of time.

If it's the CV joint clicking, you should be good for a long time. My joints have been clicking since I got my swap on the road (bad axles to begin with), 8 months and 20000kms ago. I also had a bad CV on my d16 for at least 6 months a couple years ago. I can't wait to get it fixed though, just can't afford a new axle right now. They are really easy to change yourself, an impact gun is more than enough.
