I am looking for somone to make me an intake manifold for a hyundai tiburon. Would it be possible for anyone to do it if I just sent them the intake manifold gasket off of the car and you could make the flange?(the gasket has the runner holes and bolt holes).
The intake manifold is "opposite" of a honda, the throttle body is on the right side not the left side. (can see a stock one at http://www.mk3design.com/tiburon/headers/003.jpg ) Not a good pic, but I can get more if needed.
Basically I really like the one I saw in a recent thread:

I would really like somthing just like that except built for the TB to go on the right. I can also send you a TB gasket too so you can build a flange for that aswell.
If anyone can do this for me please let me know and give me some prices/anything else you need to know.
Also, please dont flame because this is for a Hyundai.
The intake manifolds for this car are priced horiblly($700) But I am looking for somthing in the $350 range for this project.
Thanks alot guys

for a custom manifold like that you are more than likely going to spend at least 700 for someone to do it

Okay, thanks alot guys.
Does anyone know if there is any other online stores like that what sell maybe diff styles or anything?
Also what would be better for a NA setup(roughly around 180hp), the 4X4 style or the rounded style?
Thanks

Im going to be doing something similar (same application) in the near future as well. what I am going to do is cut one of my stock manifolds so that I can us the injector slots and the flanges and the fuel rail mounting location. just port the start of the runners to the desired dimensions and all you have to do is fab the rest of the runners and the plenum, i'd even go so far as to weld the stock TB flange to the plenum. a good fabricator can weld the cast AL to the new stuff. I'l probably take it to T1 here in dallas for the welding.

$350.00............. i would make one for that much. it wouldnt have stacks and it would use the stock flange and runners though.
do you have a machine shop that does aluminum welding local to you??
just get all the tubing/plate etc and cut it to what you want and if you have to, tape it all together or mark it somehow so they can see what you want done and then just let them weld it all together.
I had some welding done on a head for one of my projects before I got my tig and I was only charged about $170 total which included the cleaning/sonic check/welding/milling.

All I did was moddify the Stock Intake, and removed the AICV port and ported the inside of the runners and cleaned the casting up on the inside.
Then I welded a new 1/8" plate over the hole, and cut the stock TB flange off nad put a Mustang 70mm TB flange on it.
Here are some pics of it.

If you have any questions hit me up.
