Default Removing plug from connector (atts ecu / main ecu)

How do you get the damn plugs out of the atts ecu and the main ecu? There's basically nothing to grip onto and they're in there pretty solid even when you push the tabs down on the connectors. Tried sticking a screw driver on the tab to keep it down, no where to grip to pull it out.

if you lifted the metal plate upward, the tab is underneath. press in and pull firmly straight out. They take some oomph.

That's what I did. I guess I need to pull harder? Did you just push the tab down with your finger and pull?

Pulling the clock/radio fuse or disconnecting the battery should clear the atts codes right? I've tried a different ecu, and with mine and this one, the light is always on when i turn on the ignition. Why won't they clear?

It should clear the ECU by pulling your clock fuse. However if there is something wrong with your ATTS it might be something that a ECU reset wont clear.

When you pull the codes what flashes? Is it JUST the ATTS light flashing?

Just the ATTS light is on. The code i got with the OE ecu was 42,43: pgmfi communication line .

With the other ecu I am getting 42 and 51 (Faile-safe relay). I haven't even begun troubleshooting. Well, the first step in trouble shooting is clear code and test drive, but the codes won't clear.

I tried the specific procedure for clearing the atts code in the helms and that didn't work. I went to dealer, and they tried clearing the code with the pgm tester and it wouldn't clear. So I borrowed this atts ecu, same deal.

Few weeks back, I got code 42, and I just pulled the clock/radio fuse and it went away.

if just your atts light is flashing then you have an actual ATTS issue. You would have to read the ATTS light to get that code and reference it to your helm manual.
