Well, start by double-checking your installation. There are a few things that could make the car ride too high:

1) At the bottom of the spring verify that the actual end of the spring is at the lowest part of the "cup" on the perch. Not fitting in the perch can raise the car about 1"

2) Sometimes when you release the spring from the sprin compressor the top of the spring gets crooked where it goes into the hat. If so, the top of the spring does not fully seat in the hat and that can raise the car 1/2"

3) What kind of shocks? On some, its easy to misinstall the lower perches upside down. Also, if the lower perch is not permanently mounted to the shock make sure that it fits all the way down on the ring and "captures" it.

regards,
alan

If you didn't use a spring compressor that means that when its jacked up the spring is not fitting all the way in the top hat (that's ok) and when you lower it and the suspension compresses it is possible that the spring is not going all the way in the top hat straight. If it goes in crooked, it might not be sitting all the way up in the hat. Without jacking the car up, try to see if the spring looks straight relative to the shock (that its concentric with the shock) if not then that might be your problem.
