'03, 40k miles, everything else on it is fine ('cept it's dirty and my bumper is smashed
).
Anyway, lately, past month or so, it doesn't start up every time. Sometimes it does it on the first shot (usually in the AM or if it's been sitting or even if I just cut it off and came back to turn it on), other times it takes 4 or 5 turns of the key.
All the dash lights come on, radio works, so I don't think it's the battery.
Spark plugs? I haven't ever changed them. Starter? Meh, I hope not.
Clutch cable needs tightening? Think I remember this being a problem for some...
I thought it might just be the key (sometimes I surf with it in my pocket), but using the alternate key I have doesn't seem to make much of a difference.
I obviously haven't taken it to a dealership yet (plus, it's out of warranty).

do you have the stock battery? It's been about 3 years, 40k miles is about right to change the little honda battery that comes with it... just because it can power some lights doesn't mean it will crank the motor. You can get it tested at any auto parts store for free.
Intermittent starts on a fairly new car... my bet is battery.

Had my battery tested, it's fine.
Car started first shot this morning (and while I was at the parts store) but lately it takes 4-5 turns of the ignition to start.
Friend thinks it might be the starter solenoid. Any other ideas? Injectors sound okay, but I havne't replaced my fuel filter yet, either.
