Suspension slams on every tiny bump!
I only have a 1.7inch drop (Neuspeed springs) in the front on my prelude and for some reason everytime I hit a bump it slams the car hard as hell. I finally got around to taking out my springs/struts just to get a look of what was going on down there and I noticed an arm bottoms out on the top of my body on every bump and you can obviously see where it is hitting.
Here is where it is hitting and some other guy with a prelude cut out the top of the body-
Why does my car hit the top of the body with such a mild drop? I had my car lowered by someone else (
) and instead of just cutting my bumpstop he took all of them out completely
Would this be whats causing the arm to move up too far and hit?

If you also have adjustable ball joint camber kits in the front, the bolt on the back will come up and hit the inner fender. The OEM ones are flat on the back like the one in the picture, but the adjustable ones have a bolt on the back. However, I think you are supposed to have bump stops.

There's your problem, get some bump stops as 05member stated and check your struts because they are most likely blown so get them replaced. Also don't let that dumb *** work on your car ever again, why the hell would you completely remove the bumpstops?

http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com for the OEM stops. You usually need to cut these when you use them with lowering springs. Make sure you inspect your shocks for leaks when you disassemable everything - if you bottomed out any of them, they may be on their way out.
I'd probably get bumpstops from Ground Control

get the "stiff, linear" for shock (not strut) cost about the same as Honda OEM and you won't need to cut them -they're already pretty short.

Those GC bumpstops are the same price as the ones you can get from Honda just to let you know. I would call Honda and see if they have them in stock or can get them for you and save a few dollars on shipping.
