Default b20z/vtec power guess?

i'm about to drop in a b20z, notched and arp rod bolts with a gsr head, crower 402 vtec cams, dual springs and ti retainers, adj. cam gears, ported str i/m with 68mm trottle body, thermal i/m gasket, aem intake, dc 4-2-1 header, 2.5 exhaust w/ qtp electric exhaust cutout, chipped p28 with vtec at 5800 and rev limit at 8500.

180whp 140wtq?

sounds like a really nice set up... one suggestion would be to throw in some crower sleeves... but your estimated numbers sound about right

well i cant really just "throw" them in, that's quite a job with a big price tag. what i would really want to do is to get these toda pistons they make for a b20. you use the itr crank and itr rods with the toda pistons and you can take your b20 to 9 grand all day and it bumps up the compression to 12.5 i believe.

hate to resurect this thread but It has been asked, would it be better to destroke the b20z, I have with the ITR crank and rods, and use the b20z pistons for boost??? or just leave the bottom ends as is?

approx hp/tg numbers on both builds?

b20z stock bottomend, oem b16 head/cams with ITR manifold?

vs.

b20z block, itr crank+rods with b20z pistons with same head??
