Default how much power will i see?

come to find out that my ls was crap (something about the pistons were put in wrong and no oil was getting to my bearing), i am getting a complete rebuild from dashboard audio.

the one thing i'm wondering is what kind of power will i have. so i'm going to give you a list of whats being done and you honda wizards could tell what hp and tq i will be seeing. thanks.

honed and bored (don't know the specs)
12:1 ratio aries pistons
5 angle valve job
stage 2 port and polish
crank micropolished
something about square combustion chambers

you going to have to excuse me, i'm not a wizz by any means.

the main reason ask is i was told that with the pistons, people have seen close to 200 hp, but i don't believe it and i wanted to see what people were getting with those kind of pistons or anything else i have.

new question: what tranny should i use?

its a b18b

The LS stock has something like 140bhp, that would be at the crank which is something like 115-120whp. With much more compression I guess you could see 20 more whp. Porting is going to give you much more top-end but without cams... not a whole lot more, I would drop some cams in there to make all that compression work. The funny thing is that the GSR and LS have about the same tq the gearing on the LS is much longer, so I would get a B16 LSD tranny or a GSR tranny and you will be able to feel that power in a much more substantial way.

97+ JDM IT-R FTW.

you'll need decent cams and a good tune too.

It's a little vague.

So you're talking an LS motor? What are the cam specs... I'd take a stab in the dark of 160-180 whp. Depending on your tune an other factors.
