im getting my engine bored .20 over, i hear from some ppl, that boring does nothing. Does it add power? or is it just a waste? i would think it would add power, i mean your putting in bigger pistons and all...anyone have anything to say or to help me with this, it would be greatly apprecciated.

Yes, it will add a slight amount of HP and Tq.

 

more tq than anything displacement=

 

I doubt that .20 over will make any noticeble power maybe a 82-85bore will make a difference.
